What a find. Authentic and damn-tasty soul food. Steam table but fried food (yummy catfish) that needs to be fresh is cooked to order.

Go Here! Amazing food, unforgettable service, home made sweet tea! I enjoyed my time here! I got the fried flounder, Mac & cheese, beans, and cornbread. Fish was fresh and made to order! Staff was attentive and put a smile on my face. Very good meal! Wonderful service, personable, and great soul music selection. I did not have room for desert, they are made in house as well and look very fresh!

Peach Cobbler is delicious! It’s sweet.. the crust was just right, made with enough peaches. Did I say, sweet ? It’s good. Try it! Friendly service.

I wish I lived closer to this restaurant, but I'm sure my waist line is thankful I do not. LOL! The food here is excellent. The service is the same, friendly and welcoming. I had the fried pork chop with mac n cheese and broccoli casserole and it was delicious! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Anderson! Highly recommend!!

TOP TIER SERVICE… this small family owned business gives a cozy “grandma’s house on Sunday” vibe… the facility is very CLEAN and the staff are super FRIENDLY. I had the smothered chops and smothered gizzards and they were amazing… seasoned well… everything FRESH and the tea is a MUST HAVE!

The food was excellent. Reasonably priced. You get a good helping of food. Staff was very friendly. Went after church so there was a long line, but definitely worth it. Will definitely go back when in Anderson.

We found this restaurant through Maps after searching for "Soul Food near me". It was about 12 miles off our I-85 route but well worth the drive. Cozy little eatery with a wide variety of choices. Pick a $5 meat and as many $2.50 sides as you like. Generous portions. Sweet tea or sodas are $2.50, also. I opted for the freshly fried Chicken Livers with collards and Mac n cheese. My wife got a couple of Fried Chicken legs with cabbage and Mac n cheese. The chicken tasted good but had been sitting for a while. It's hard to keep fried food fresh for long. Very friendly staff was very welcoming. An Anderson area must-stop.
